Adventure Course

Using the purpose-built course, this activity can be either a team-building or individual challenge and features a number of different obstacles including tunnels and wall climbs.

Backwoods Cooking

There are a number of areas around the site which are suitable for backwoods cooking activities including the small campfire circle and designated ground fire areas.

Barn

The Barn is available for a variety of purposes such as a wet weather activity area, ( large enough to accomodate archery when required) meetings, disco venue, etc.

Crate Climbing

Using the site's permanent crate-climbing area, this activity aims to develop self-confidence, team work, communication, balance and determination.

Offsite Activities

There are a wide range of off-site activities that can be undertaken in the surrounding area. Visiting groups will be spoilt for choice as activities are available to suit all interests.

Orienteering

A way to explore the site and do an activity at the same time as a group or individual challenge. The site has a semi-permanent orienteering course, with three routes/levels of difficulty.

Pioneering

There are a number of pioneering poles (including a variety of lengths & sizes) available for use and are situated in the pole store (next to the small campfire circle).

Pond Dipping

Pond dipping is an activity you can run yourself, having ensured an acceptable level of safety. Instructions on how to catch beasties, identification sheets, nets etc are available.

Sumo Suits & Inflatables

Whether you are taking part or watching, everyone is sure to have some fun and laughter with the Sumo Costumes. Inflatable Human Table Football is also available.

Target Archery

The site has a permanent outdoor range to hire, with instructors/equipment when available. Depending on the weather, the activity may be provided indoors using the Barn.

Traverse Wall

A low level climbing activity that challenges participants to make their way across the bottom of the climbing wall using a variety of different holds.
