Shop
The campsite has a small, well stocked shop, popular with the campers, providing drinks, confectionery, souvenirs such as badges and small gift items. Matches, torches etc are also available.
Toilets & Showers
The recently refurbished main toilets & showers, (hot of course) are located in the main hub within the courtyard of the White House. Also, a new toilet block is situated near the Greenlady.
Campfire Circle (Large)
The amphitheatre style large campfire circle is available to all campers. We often find that Groups will get together to make their campfire experience so much more special.
Campfire Circle (Small)
In addition to the main campfire circle, there is a smaller area located near the MacRobert camping area, which is available for smaller campfires, and other activities.
Clachan
The Clachan is an outdoor meeting area located near the MacRobert camping area. It is partially screened, to provide a separate area for groups to meet and use for events and activities.
Pot Washing
There is a purpose-built washing bay, with hot water, deep sinks and draining areas located next to the shop for groups to use for washing pots, pans, plates, etc. and disposing of camp waste water.
Sandpit
The sand pit (on the location of the old swimming pool) can be used by Groups on a first-come, first-served basis for activities such as sandcastle building, volleyball, treasure hunts, etc.
Alter Fires
Alter Fires are available for use around the site. Fires should be kept small and all wood & coals should be burned to ash before disposal in ashpit. Leave No Trace...
BBQ & Picnic Area
Situated in the former Whitehouse sunken garden, the BBQ & Picnic area is popular with small groups for evening al fresco dining. Picnic tables and a BBQ are in this area.
