Pond Dipping

Pond dipping is an activity you can run yourself, requiring leaders to implement reasonable practicable measures to ensure an acceptable level of safety. 

Available for use by prior arrangement, are instructions on how to catch beasties, identification sheets (laminated so they don't get soggy), nets and trays (to catch and then see what you have caught). Our small pond has tadpoles, in the right season, pond skaters, midge larvae and a host of other interesting delights (including ducks and herons). Give it a try and leave us a note of what you think you have found.
