MacRobert

The MacRobert site is named after an old residential building, the "MacRobert Lodge" which occupied the same site until it was demolished in the early 1990’s.  The lodge was replaced by the current GA Smith centre (which was built on a different site).

The MacRobert site is located relatively centrally within the site and is near to the main hub of facilities (Flag poles, shop, main toilet block, small campfire circle and the Clachan).

The MacRobert is split into three separate bookable plots (M1 approx 20-30 people, M2 = 30-50 people and M3 = 15-20).

The site is ideal for a Troop/Pack camp, Explorer or Network units and as a site for numerous hike tents as part of a larger Group/District camp (e.g. an area for adult/leader tents).
